3 Things You Need to Know About Mattresses

Why can’t I get a mattress that’s right for me?”

Why can’t I get the comfort AND support I really need?

Your Quest for a great night’s sleep ends here!

There are three important things you need to know about your mattress:

1. Firmness in a mattress just describes “Hardness” not support.

A too-firm mattress system can cause pressure points and gaps of support if it can’t shape and conform to your body contours.

Vanguard sleep systems are designed to allow for, and respond to, your body contours with state-of-the-art inner springs or engineered latex center cores.
A mattress that contours well is a great beginning.

2. Body Contouring has serious limitations without corresponding Body Lift.

Body contouring alone can’t help you maintain proper spinal alignment during sleep or rest.  As muscles relax, gravity continues to force your body downward into the sleep surface.  Without corresponding lift your body will experience pinched nerves and stretched ligaments from a sagging spinal column.

Vanguard sleep systems provide sufficient body buoyancy (lift) with zoned areas of reinforcement where your body needs it the most for a fully supportive night’s sleep.

3. Insulation and Muscle Cushioning Materials provide comfort and protect circulatory flow.

Your mattress needs ample amounts of evenly distributed, high quality insulation and muscle-cushioning materials to comfort, cradle, and caress your body and to ease circulatory flow.  Single-sided mattresses which “pile high” materials on only one side, tend to overly compress and leave body impressions that can’t be evened out by rotating the mattress from head to toe. It merely creates longer and deeper areas of body compression and early wear.

Vanguard uses time-honored, quality-first materials and construction techniques in all of our double-sided mattresses. Abundantly layered upholstery on both sides of our mattresses provide extended comfort and useful life for your most intimate home furnishings possession.

Remember: a no-turn mattress is really a Can’t-Turn mattress.
